CASHIER

Asyana Gardens Limited is seeking a trustworthy, accurate and highly accountable Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for receiving and processing payments, maintaining accurate transaction records, reconciling collections and ensuring strict compliance with the company’s financial-control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process mobile money, card and other approved forms of payment.
• Ensure every payment received is accurately recorded and receipted.
• Verify bills and supporting documentation before processing payments.
• Carry out accurate end-of-shift and end-of-day reconciliations.
• Reconcile collections against the relevant system records.
• Maintain proper custody of assigned payment instruments.
• Prepare complete cashier reports and submit all required supporting documentation.
• Maintain a clear audit trail for transactions handled.
• Promptly report shortages, overages, billing discrepancies, reversals and other irregularities.
• Follow established procedures for cash handovers, banking and transaction reversals.
• Ensure that discounts, cancellations, refunds and adjustments are only processed with appropriate authorization.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company financial information.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous cashiering experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, retail or another high-volume environment.

• Experience using POS systems and electronic payment platforms.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High standards of integrity, honesty, confidentiality and accountability.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays where required.
